Heatherwood Court is the newest flagship hospital to be commissioned by Ludlow Street Healthcare Group, an experienced, innovative Welsh healthcare company delivering specialist mental health care, treatment and education services for young people and adults across South Wales.

Opened in 2007, Heatherwood Court is a high quality 48 bed, medium and low secure purpose-built independent psychiatric hospital, offering a safe and secure therapeutic environment. Heatherwood is set in rural, landscaped grounds surrounded by beautiful countryside near Pontypridd on the outskirts of Cardiff and with good access to community facilities and transport links.

Heatherwood Court has a strong commitment to meet the treatment and rehabilitation needs of adults with complex clinical requirements. This commitment is demonstrated by a separate, large clinical services building on site with its bright modern environment giving us the ability to deliver a wider range of therapy inputs.
