Admissions Criteria

Heatherwood Court can admit adults from the age of eighteen who meet the following criteria:-

• Adults with mental illness and/or learning disabilities, including those with a history of offending or challenging behaviour requiring a medium or low secure environment and intensive treatment.
• Adults with a diagnosis of personality disorder.
• Adults moving from high secure hospitals or medium secure services who require active rehabilitation and continued treatment in a low secure environment.

All of our services are able to admit detained patients and are registered with HIW (Health Inspectorate Wales).
