Psychiatrists at Heatherwood Court will provide leadership and guidance to the Multi-Disciplinary team with the aim to synthesise all the discrete skills of the healthcare professionals and produce an innovative care pathway which utilises best practice and clinical excellence.
The Psychiatry service has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of major mental illness, learning disabilities in high, medium and low forensic settings and community based services.
The experience in different forensic areas enables the Psychiatry service to amalgamate their knowledge of biological therapies and robust risk assessments with the extended clinical talents of the Multi-Disciplinary team. Our aim is to offer this treatment package in various settings within the structure of Heatherwood as well as accessing community facilities, to enable patients to achieve positive outcomes as they progress through the seamless service we offer.
