Our clinical approach is based on active treatment and rehabilitation and the belief that positive change can be achieved for all individuals in our care.

The clinical services provided at Heatherwood Court will be based on the principles of clinical effectiveness, measurable outcomes and valuing people, and involving patients in their care.

Heatherwood Court has its own experienced and high skilled multi-disciplinary team consisting of:-

The patient's progress and clinical issues are explored and discussed at regular Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings. An extensive range of individual and group therapeutic interventions will be offered to meet patient need based on NICE guidelines and clinical effectiveness, evidence and research. Individuals may also be able to access a range of complementary therapies as deemed appropriate by the multi-disciplinary clinical team.

Overall progress and future needs are reviewed formally with purchasers and families through six monthly CPA meetings.
